1. Take a Stroll Around the Royal Albert Dock Light Trail

In what has become a yearly spectacle the Royal Albert Dock has once again lit up for the festive season. Alongside the now permanent fixture of over 1 million lights adorning the iconic columns, visitors can follow the ‘Feels Like Christmas’ light trail to discover sculptures of light including the famous Liver Birds Bella and Bertie, and other well known symbols of the city such as the Yellow Submarine.

2. Visit Liverpool Cathedral

A constant feature looking over the city, the Grade 1 Listed Liverpool Cathedral is the fifth-largest Cathedral in the world. Entry is free to take a look around the vast interior and if you are lucky enough you might just catch a choir service or musical event while you are there. For those who want to know more, tours are available costing from £5.50 and under, giving visitors access to the rooftop and city views from Liverpool’s 4th highest building.

3. Candlelight Concerts at St George’s Hall

For a real special treat why not take yourself off to the magnificent St George’s Hall for one of their famous Candlelight Concerts?
