Karen Yates: Head of Sales & Events

Karen heads up the team here at The Venue at the Royal Liver Building. A proud Liverpool local, Karen has strong ties to the historic Royal Liver Building. Karen studied a BA Hons degree in Events Management and spent 10 years away working within the fast paced events industry in London & Leeds. Karen said: “Returning back to Liverpool and managing The Venue at the Royal Liver Building is a dream for me and I’m delighted to have such an iconic venue within my portfolio”.

After studying a degree in History, Faye gained her hospitality experience working at a prestigious 4* Manor House in Cheshire and has a keen eye for detail. Faye brings a wealth of knowledge and hands on experience in venue operations, sales and event planning. “The ‘blank canvas’ versatility of The Venue allows me to work with a diverse range of event sectors and I love the variety of the role”.
