‘Elle has her heart set on a classy wedding at Liverpool’s iconic Liver Building. But Phil plans a wedding to go down in history. Will his scheme turn out a wreck?‘

The events team at The Venue were delighted to be approached earlier this year by popular TV Show Don’t Tell the Bride. The happy couple taking part both agreed their perfect wedding must take place in the heart of their beloved home city of Liverpool, however with slightly different ideas about the ideal Liverpool wedding venue.

Liverpool bride Elle knew our iconic waterfront location was the perfect Liverpool wedding venue for an unforgettable day. With our stunning Bertie and Bella Ballrooms- named after our famous Liver Birds- beautifully dressed with a simple bridal theme by Luxury Events Group we welcomed Elle to see what her wedding could look like.

Our private concierge escorted Elle from the Royal Liver Building’s waterfront foyer to our first-floor Venue. Luxury Events Group created a simple but visually stunning set up in our Bella Ballroom featuring a unique floral hoop subtly framing the waterfront views from our private balcony. In the adjacent Bertie Suite our tables were laid with petal detailed tablecloths with candelabra centrepieces surrounded by pastel- themed flower arrangements.

The Verdict: Elle loved our traditional yet modern event space and subtle theme, stating it was perfect for the classy, traditional wedding of her dreams. Of course Phil had the final say, and so instead they enjoyed a fantastic Dinosaur themed wedding at the World Museum. We hope to see them for the perfect vow renewal!
