Hundreds gathered at The Venue at The Royal Liver Building last month to celebrate the official launch of 107.6 Capital FM in Liverpool.

Launch guests included Hollyoaks stars Karl Collins, Jazmine Franks and Sarah George; Dancing on Ice star and local lad Ray Quinn; Councillor Gary Millar, cabinet member for business, enterprise and investment; and West Derby MP Stephen Twigg.

The event began with a drinks reception in the Bella Ballroom, where guests tucked into canapés and toasted the new radio station.

Guests were entertained by X Factor runner-up Fleur East, who took to the stage to give a dazzling performance of her new single ‘More and More’. Following Fleur’s performance, Capital Liverpool drive time DJs Sarah Story and Anton Powers took to the decks.
